FullStack JavaScript (TypeScript, NodeJS) Developer

Qualifications

As a FullStack JavaScript Engineer, you will play an integral part within Mobile and Robotic platforms in the integration and within L3 support of Mobile and ROS applications. You will work in close collaboration with various business and technical teams in order to manage the integration, maintenance and evolution of a set of applications.

Work you’ll do

• Design, code and release ROS2, obile and web applications using JavaScript
• Proofreading your code and correcting mistakes before each app is released
• Collaborating with Testers, to ensure that each app is presentable and in perfect working order
• Creating app updates, including bug fixes and additional features, for release

Required

• Bachelors in Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent degree
• Experience designing, coding, and releasing mobile applications on either native or leading programming languages
• Experience as a JavaScript or Robotic programmer who can demonstrate that ramp ability in an interview
• Knowledge of Linux
• Working experience with JSON and data via REST
• Working experience with I/O management applications

Preferred

• 1-2 Robotic or back-end applications hosting on Linux systems
• Understanding of the ROS2 and node applications
• Experience with IntelliJ, Android Studio or VSCode preferred
• GIT experience

A Typical Week

• Develop applications
• Help define and maintain smoke tests
• Manually test new and existing features
• Develop yourself and join in elsewhere (it’s a small team and there’s always work to jump into)
